Turiyatalks with Asis Chakraborty - Co-operative Movement - S8 Ep 8

Mr. Asis Chakraborty spoke about his 10-12 years of experience in the field of Co-operation and we learn of him being a Chairman of the Apex level Housing Cooperative in West Bengal. Besides this he is also a social activist, and a politician working to help people at the grass-root level.

He briefed us about the Co-operative movement and its inception. He went on speaking about the issues in India caused by the co-operative sectors and how the ministry is resolving these.

After that he also shared his views on the Reserve Bank of India, its policies, shortcomings and loopholes for the failures of banks in India. He also mentioned his views on the Central Government’s interference in State matters which is leading to the downfall of Co-operative banks.

At the end he was thankful to Turiya Talks for giving him a good platform to deliberate upon this topic and wished immense success to Turiya Communications and hoped to see them excel more in the coming days.
